Snake Plant: Sometimes called “Mother-in-Law’s Tongue”, this upright succulent is known for its tall, sword-shaped leaves. It’s typically used as a floor plant. Snake plants are among the most resilient indoor tropicals due to their drought tolerance and ability to thrive in low light conditions.
They bring a contemporary naturalistic design to any space. Snake Plant’s ability to handle neglect is a major reason they’re used widely in homes and commercial spaces.
Snake Plants were traditionally placed in homes in parts of Africa and Asia because they were believed to bring good fortune and protective energy.
Laurentii has a green leaf with the yellow margins, Zeylanica has the classic dark-green leaf with the wavy striping, Moonshine is a silvery green leaf, and the Hahnii or Bird’s Nest is a compact rosette form.
