Croton: Just known as the Croton, this plant is a bold, colorful shrub that is known for it’s vivid variegated leaves in different shades of yellow, orange, green, and purple. It’s typically grown for a bushy accent plant, since it adds the perfect dramatic color to indoor displays, but can be used to brighten up sunrooms and warm, bright corners. Crotons are one of the more visually striking indoor tropical plants. Most Crotons prefer bright indirect light as they need it to maintain their vibrant colors.

Fun Fact

Crotons are native to Southeast Asia and the Pacific Islands, where they grow as large shrubs with even more intense coloration from the full tropical sun.
